The wise men visited Jesus and His family well after His birth. The delegation that appeared before Jesus had to be more than three because it was dangerous to travel the roads. These men came prepared with expensive gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. In our offering, we need to imitate the wise men, who knew they had been blessed by being some of the first people who had the opportunity to see Him.
